Soil stabilisation that holds, with native vegetation.
Matting and coir buy you the first season; the root network holds the slope for the next twenty years. We install both as one package, to spec and to your program.
On a disturbed batter or basin, the lasting stabiliser is living roots. Erosion matting and coir logs protect the surface while natives establish, then biodegrade into the soil as the planting takes over the long-term hold.
Soil stabilisation is a sequence, not a single product. First the surface is protected so rain and runoff can't strip it: jute matting or mesh pinned to the slope, coir logs trenched across the flow. Then the permanent stabiliser goes in behind it - native ground covers, grasses and shrubs chosen for the soil, slope and exposure, planted at a density that knits a root mat through the profile.
Get the sequence and the species right and the two work together: the product holds the first season, the vegetation holds the next twenty. Planted supplies and installs both as one scope across NSW, worked to your engineering and landscape spec, so there is one crew accountable for the slope standing up at handover and staying up after.
